Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Fine-tune existing code to enhance performance and reliability.
- Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, systems, and processes.
- Contribute to educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Analyze complex issues and devise effective solutions to improve system performance.
- Work with stakeholders to triage and resolve product or system issues.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Programming Languages. Strong experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- Cloud Technologies. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and modern cloud ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Self-Starter. Ability to take initiative and drive projects independently.
- Problem-Solving Skills. Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex issues.
- Team Collaboration. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- z/OS Experience. Familiarity with z/OS is a plus.
- Version Control and CI/CD Tools. Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Tekton.
