As an AI Engineer within our Client Engineering team, you'll utilize your unique skills to develop and deploy AI systems using our WatsonX platform, crafting pilots for clients, and driving IBM's growth and innovation.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an AI Solution Engineer at IBM, you'll leverage the WatsonX platform to co-create AI value with clients, focusing on technology patterns to enhance repeatability and delight clients. Your responsibilities include.
- Developing Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate AI solutions' feasibility and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with development teams to implement and iterate on POCs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Serving as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and feedback.
- Providing technical support during solution deployment and offering guidance on AI best practices.
- Documenting solution architectures, design decisions, and implementation details.
- Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI, foundation models, and large language models.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering AI solutions, with a focus on foundation models and large language models.
- Strong programming skills, proficiency in Python, and experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
- Experience in solution architecture and design, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and business objectives.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in AI.
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience in full AI project lifecycle, from research and prototyping to deployment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and AI/data governance.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese/Spanish/German/French/Portuguese language.
