Job Opportunity. VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Developer

Locations. Noida / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai / Mumbai / Pune

Skills

Must-Have

  1. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience deploying vRealize Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.x in Standalone/Multi Data Center environments.
  2. Extensive experience in vRealize Orchestrator, creating complex workflows, and integrating them with VMware Aria Automation for Software-Defined Data Centers.
  3. Proficiency in Scripting Languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python, JavaScript, YAML.
  4. Working with Operators, Actions, and Dynamic types in VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator, configuring plugins for applications like Remedy, SNOW, Azure, AWS, Commvault, etc.
  5. Integration experience with DevOps and VMware toolset, including Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt Stack, and Terraform.
  6. Hands-on experience in migrating and upgrading VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator code.
  7. Developing end-to-end scenarios for Complex Blueprints, integrating Orchestrator workflows with them.
  8. Knowledge of ITSM Tools: BMC Remedy/HP Service Desk/Service Now/CMDB.
  9. Configuring PowerShell hosts and third-party tools exposing SOAP/REST web services.
  10. Developing Anything as a Service Blueprints (XaaS) and creating custom forms.
  11. Troubleshooting VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator workflows.
  12. Hands-on experience with versioning control tools like Git, and SVN.
  13. Strong understanding of Agile methodology.

Good to Have

  • Experience in creating custom Plugins for Third-Party Tools/Systems.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS concepts, with hands-on experience in SQL/Oracle.
  • Understanding of data center architecture, Cloud Migration, cloud management, deployments, and cloud-managed operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop use cases for Infrastructure Automation following best practices in the software development lifecycle.
  • Understand customer requirements and design automation solutions.
  • Integrate third-party systems with VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator.
  • Review, modify, and enhance existing workflows.
  • Develop new use cases to showcase VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator capabilities.
  • Recommend frameworks and integration strategies.
  • Review, advise, and design coding standards.
  • Coach and mentor team members, guiding technical challenges.
  • Contribute to ongoing development and operations of Cloud-based platforms.
  • Provide expert guidance on advancements and enhancements for VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator and VMware Aria Automation.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology/MCA/Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Communications

Certification Required

  • VCP-CMA (VMware Certified Professional 2023 – Cloud Management and Automation)
  • VCP-DCV (VMware Certified Professional 2023 – Data Center Virtualization)
