In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure solutions, contributing to the maintenance of automated deployment pipelines. You will collaborate with Cloud Systems and Network Engineering teams, ensuring alignment with our standardized DevOps toolsets and practices. Your work will support the transition of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions, automation of processes, and adoption of infrastructure as code, helping maintain cutting-edge infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Agile Practices. Engage in Agile practices, participate in daily scrums, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to maintain project momentum.
- Cloud Infrastructure. Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions, deploying automated pipelines using Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Legacy Systems Transition. Assist in transitioning legacy systems to cloud infrastructure, automate processes, and adopt infrastructure as code, ensuring technology upgrades like AKS.
- Collaboration. Work with Cloud Systems and Network Engineering teams to align DevOps practices with platform requirements, contributing to the scalability of the Catalina Media Platform (CMP).
- Support and Troubleshooting. Provide Level 3 support, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex DevOps issues, participating in major incident responses and conference calls.
- Continuous Delivery. Contribute to continuous delivery projects, maintain service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring consistent platform provisioning, system uptime, and policy compliance.
- SDLC and Code Reviews. Engage in standard Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs), conduct code reviews, and CI/CD testing to ensure operational excellence and system stability.
- Toolset and Process Alignment. Align scrum teams with standard toolsets and processes for consistency and efficiency in project delivery.
Job Requirements
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Certifications. Azure certification (AZ104 required, AZ400 preferred), and relevant certifications such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience. 3 to 5 years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles, with project support experience.
- Technical Skills. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Additional Skills. Basic knowledge of Jenkins, Vagrant, Puppet, Bitbucket, Azure API Manager, and Azure Front Door. Experience with hub & spoke networking is a plus.
- Soft Skills. Effective problem-solving skills, good communication skills in English, and willingness to engage in level 3 support and incident responses.
- Regulatory Awareness. Understanding of regulatory standards and policies for platform provisioning and compliance.
