Job Description

As a Cloud Onboarding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the onboarding process of new accounts, ensuring that customers derive maximum value from their cloud investments. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, support customers through implementation, and manage project delivery to align with customer expectations. Your expertise will be key in addressing potential risks and maintaining effective communication throughout the onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding process for a set of accounts, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with customer needs and use cases.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, and Product Engineering teams to meet customer expectations and address any issues.
  • Identify and proactively manage potential risks in onboarding projects.
  • Share regular updates on project status and customer feedback using internal tools and systems.
  • Support backend activities, including preparing business review reports and maintaining enterprise systems like Salesforce and Gainsight.
  • Provide assistance with cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience in AWS or Azure, ensuring effective use of these platforms.
  • Leverage knowledge of SaaS products and industry standards to support customer success and optimize cloud costs.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Computing concepts with hands-on experience in AWS or Azure (Practitioner or Associate certification preferred).
  • Knowledge of SaaS industry and software products.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to present information clearly and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience with at least a 3-year college degree in a related field.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Familiarity with AWS Cost and Usage Reports or Azure Billing CSV.
  • Experience in Customer Success and proactive customer engagement.
  • Background in Cloud Cost Optimization / FinOps.
  • Experience with CRM software and other customer success tools.
