Job Description

Accenture Flexible Workforce seeks a skilled Cloud Ops Build & Automation Specialist to drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives remotely, transitioning onsite post-pandemic restrictions. This role spans 12 months and emphasizes bridging development and operations, adhering to Agile methodologies, and ensuring efficient, multi-disciplinary execution.

Responsibilities

  • Execute tools and processes for Cloud Ops Infrastructure as Code implementation.
  • Facilitate collaboration between development and operational teams, ensuring alignment with acceptance criteria and documenting requirements.
  • Operate in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments, crafting alternative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Support strategic goals set by senior management, providing direction on team objectives.
  • Exercise judgment to resolve intricate issues, frequently interacting with client management and peers.
  • Lead small teams or individual work efforts, if in a contributor role, at client sites.
  • Develop and deliver training curriculum to team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Infrastructure Automation with Terraform.
  • Minimum 3 years of scripting experience in Python, Unix/Linux Shell, JavaScript, PowerShell, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of command line experience in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or other Cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Proficiency in code repository management.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ansible or similar tools for Infrastructure Automation.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, or equivalent containerization tools.
  • Experience implementing Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, or DevOps solutions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented, problem-solving environment.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral), with an emphasis on documentation.
  • Industry experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS, Windows Server Administration, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Shell Scripting.
  • Familiarity with the latest ECMAScript versions (JavaScript/TypeScript) and React ecosystem tools like npm and yarn.
  • Proficiency in unit testing with frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or Jasmine.
