Job Description

As a Content Strategist at LinkedIn, you will play a pivotal role in the LinkedIn Knowledge Management Solutions (KMS) team. You will be responsible for creating and managing self-service help content across various channels, contributing to exceptional user experiences for our members and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development

  • Develop accurate, timely, and user-centered content for a specific line of business, guided by senior content strategists and managers.
  • Create content tailored for different delivery channels, including help centers, in-product help, chatbots, and virtual assistants, following KMS guidelines and stakeholder input.

Quality Assurance

  • Validate and score outputs from chatbots to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines and industry standards.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and user feedback to assess content health and provide actionable insights to stakeholders and writers.
  • Build deep expertise in designated areas of work to effectively communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.

Collaboration and Project Management

  • Collaborate with global team members, Product Operations, Product Education, and Project Management teams to define and create outstanding content experiences.
  • Develop and present clear project plans to gain stakeholder agreement and ensure successful execution.
  • Provide training and coaching to new team members on product knowledge, writing processes, and tools.
  • Participate in peer-to-peer reviews to enhance content quality and provide constructive feedback.

LinkedIn Voice and Tone

  • Master LinkedIn’s voice and tone guidelines and contribute to the development of the Help Style Guide.
  • Model LinkedIn’s culture and values in all interactions and actively contribute to building a healthy team culture.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in industry and technical writing, preferably in Technical Writing or Knowledge Management practices.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems and authoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with DITA or other topic-based authoring methodologies.
  • Proficiency in content authoring tools such as XMetal, Oxygen, or similar.
  • Experience in creating and validating content for AI conversational interfaces and familiarity with prompt engineering principles is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively in local and global teams.

  • Positive attitude, growth mindset, flexibility, and willingness to contribute to various projects as needed.
