Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management & Security Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing and overseeing the security of our IT infrastructure and operations, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working during US business hours and possess strong expertise in various aspects of cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Risk Management. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with information security. Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect organizational assets.
2. Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). Configure and manage SIEM systems to monitor and analyze security events and incidents. Generate and review reports to identify and address potential threats.
3. Security Operation Centre (SOC). Support and enhance SOC operations. Collaborate with SOC teams to ensure timely detection and response to security incidents.
4. Firewall Management. Implement and manage firewall rules and policies to safeguard network boundaries and prevent unauthorized access.
5. Governance and Compliance. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain governance standards.
6. Vulnerability Assessment. Perform vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential security weaknesses in systems and networks.
7. Network Security. Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to potential threats.
8. Infrastructure Security. Safeguard critical infrastructure components, including servers, databases, and applications, through effective security measures and practices.

Qualifications

1. Certifications. Preferred certifications include Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
2. Experience. Proven experience in risk management, SIEM, SOC operations, firewall management, and network security.
3. Skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
4. Work Hours. Availability to work during US business hours (6:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST).
