Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a DevOps Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing Ericsson’s 5G products using cloud-native technologies. You will be instrumental in automating build and delivery processes, identifying infrastructure bottlenecks, and driving continuous improvement across our service delivery platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize cloud-native technologies and tools to develop 5G products within a container-based micro-service architecture.
  • Develop automation tools to enhance build and delivery efficiency, ensuring robust and scalable systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure bottlenecks, driving optimizations and improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to design and implement scalable, reliable systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement of products and processes, integrating CI/CD practices for efficient service delivery.
  • Develop expertise in your technical domain, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Ensure professional delivery of solutions to customers, focusing on achieving high customer satisfaction and profitability.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven industry experience with hands-on technical expertise in design, integration (build), and continuous deployment (CD) using cloud services.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Jenkins/GitLab, Ansible, and experience with canary deployments.
  • Familiarity with Deployment/Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), Linux systems, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience in software development using Bash and Python scripting languages.
  • Expertise in security domains, including security strategy, risk management, and assessments.
  • Hands-on experience developing pipelines using Spinnaker/Jenkins and debugging pipeline issues.
  • Familiarity with application and infrastructure performance monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Dynatrace, Nagstamon).
