Luxoft is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Wholesale Banking Global Tribe Lending team. Our Tribe is dedicated to creating a fast, seamless, personalized, and data-driven digital lending experience for borrowers, investors, and regulators. We focus on developing reliable and controlled processes for obtaining and managing lending products, including the distribution of these products to lenders and investors. Operating in over 40 countries, our goal is to deliver a uniform client experience globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Advanced Business Applications. You will be responsible for creating, developing, and supporting sophisticated business applications within the Wholesale Lending line of business.
- Innovate with New Technologies. Research and propose innovative solutions by leveraging the latest technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure Code Quality. Maintain high code quality and ensure maintainability by addressing technical debt, conducting thorough code reviews, and refactoring code when necessary.
- Scalable Solutions. Collaborate with your team to ensure that solutions are scalable and future-proof, meeting the needs of a growing and dynamic business environment.
- Continuous Skill Improvement. You will be expected to continuously improve your skills, adapt to new challenges, and deliver high-quality results consistently.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Educational Background. A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Professional Experience. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
- Advanced knowledge of Java 17, Git, and Maven.
- Experience in creating web applications and working with SOAP/RESTful APIs.
- Expertise with Tomcat Server.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, such as Oracle.
- Proficient in writing unit and integration tests using JUnit.
- Experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
Architecture Knowledge
- Familiarity with Micro-Services architecture, dispersion services, and scalability.
- Experience with container technologies like Docker and OpenShift.
Preferred Skills
- Agile/DevOps Experience. Experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment.
- Continuous Delivery Tools. Familiarity with Continuous Delivery tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Message Brokers. Experience working with message brokers like WebSphere MQ and Kafka.
- Scripting Proficiency. Ability to write scripts using languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
