As a Mendix Developer at Nagarro, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality applications using Mendix. You'll leverage your skills in UI design, data modeling, performance optimization, and integration to create efficient, scalable applications. This role involves collaboration, problem-solving, and implementing innovative solutions to exceed our clients' expectations.
Requirements
- Experience. Minimum 2+ years in software development, with a strong focus on Mendix development and deployment.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in Mendix Studio, Mendix Studio Pro, and Mendix Runtime.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for UI implementation and customization.
- Skilled in developing custom widgets and modules within Mendix.
- Knowledge of databases and data modeling for efficient application management.
- Familiar with integrating Mendix applications with external systems.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies.
Optimization and Problem-Solving
- Experience in optimizing applications for big data with batch retrieval.
- Ability to implement hashdiff logic and optimize Excel export performance.
- Familiarity with automated testing for data verification between Mendix and Snowflake.
- Proficiency in performance optimization techniques to ensure smooth and efficient applications.
Communication and Teamwork
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and review top-notch code that aligns with Nagarro’s standards.
- Analyze functional requirements to fully understand and meet the client’s needs.
- Design and implement solutions using appropriate technologies, patterns, and frameworks.
- Lead application development by managing requirements, schedules, and activities.
- Support UAT and production rollouts to ensure successful deployment.
- Assist with work breakdown structures (WBS) and accurately estimate efforts for tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs, collaborating with the team to provide solutions.
- Conduct POCs to validate that suggested designs and technologies meet requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback, set clear expectations, and foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
