We are seeking a skilled Embedded Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in embedded security and penetration testing within the automotive domain. This role involves developing and deploying advanced methodologies for vehicular security assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and norms.

Key Responsibilities
- Vehicular Security Assessment. Develop and deploy methodologies for assessing real-time security threats, risks, and vulnerabilities in vehicles, adhering to ISO 21434 and UN ECE norms.
- Penetration Testing. Design and implement embedded attack vectors for penetration testing of vehicle networks and ECUs to identify and validate vulnerabilities.
- Cybersecurity Testing Automation. Design and automate cybersecurity functional testing and FUZZ testing for automotive systems.
- Embedded Security Solutions. Design and develop Secure Flashing and Secure Bootloaders to enhance low-level embedded security for ECUs.
- Hardware Trust Integration. Integrate and test Hardware Trust Anchors (HSM / ICUM) and HSM-based security services for vehicle embedded systems.
- Secure Communication. Develop secure vehicular communication protocols with a focus on cryptography and PKI/TLS.
- CAN Intrusion Detection Systems: Design and develop CAN Intrusion Detection Systems for vehicle network security.
- Benchmarking and Documentation. Conduct benchmarking, research industry landscapes, and document automotive security requirements.
- Embedded Systems Expertise. Work with Linux, embedded systems, various hardware boards, microcontrollers, and develop in C / C++ and Embedded C. Utilize scripting skills in Python / Perl.
Job-Specific Skills
- Programming Languages. Proficiency in C / C++, Embedded C, and scripting languages (Python / Perl).
- Microcontroller and Hardware Experience. Experience with microcontrollers, hardware boards, cross-compilers, debugging, and flashing tools.
- Automotive Security Assessment. Expertise in security assessment based on ISO 21434 and UN ECE norms, including threat analysis, risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and cybersecurity management systems (CSMS).
- CAN Tools. Experience with CAN tools such as CANAnalyzer, CANoe, VehicleSPY, and ValueCAN.
- Protocols and Standards. Understanding of AUTOSAR, CAN Protocol, UDS Protocol, and in-vehicle networks.
- Penetration Testing and Tools. In-depth knowledge of embedded penetration testing, sniffing, spoofing tools, and embedded hacking tools.
- FUZZ Testing: Experience with FUZZ testing, cybersecurity functional testing, and integration testing.
- HSM-based Security. Familiarity with HSM-based security services, cryptographic integration/testing, authentication, integrity checks, secure communication, and key management.
- Cybersecurity Concepts. Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, cryptographic algorithms, key management, PKI, and secure coding practices.
- Bonus Skills. Experience with automotive cybersecurity, ECUs, secure bootloaders, Autosar Crypto, JTAG, Gateway Modules, infotainment systems, CAN IDS, and firewalls.
