Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Executive Recruiter to join HP’s People Organization, with a focus on the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) Region. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with senior business leaders and HR stakeholders to develop and execute recruitment strategies that attract diverse and top-tier talent. Your efforts will not only fill current vacancies but also build a strong talent pipeline for the future of HP.

As an Executive Recruiter, you will manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to offer, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. You will employ a variety of sourcing methods, including direct sourcing, referrals, and collaboration with external search firms, to identify and engage with candidates who will drive HP’s success in the APJ region.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Recruitment. Source, select, and recruit for Director through Vice President-level positions across the Asia Pacific region, focusing on commercial, technical management, support, and general management roles.
  2. Relationship Building. Develop and nurture strategic relationships with senior executives and stakeholders, earning their trust and becoming a sought-after expert in executive recruitment.
  3. Process Leadership. Drive best-in-class recruitment processes throughout the entire search lifecycle, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach to every search.
  4. Executive Partnership. Consult with, influence, and advise senior executives on recruitment strategies, providing insights and expertise to guide leadership hiring decisions.
  5. Project Management. Lead and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously within a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment.
  6. External Collaboration. Engage and manage relationships with external search firms to ensure access to a broad and diverse candidate pool.

What We're Looking For

  1. Experience. Previous in-house executive recruiting experience with a strong track record in filling senior-level roles.
  2. Industry Knowledge. In-depth understanding of the commercial IT landscape, including software, hardware, and services.
  3. Educational Background. A BA/BS degree in business, communications, human resources, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent work experience is also valued.
  4. Expertise. 5+ years of relevant experience, particularly in managing senior candidate interactions and leadership hiring processes.
