Job Description

As a Field IT Manager, you'll spearhead the deployment and operation of IT services across international Microsoft sites, ensuring seamless connectivity and promoting Microsoft technologies through exemplary service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deployment and Operation. Take charge of deploying and maintaining IT services for internal end users across various Microsoft divisions, including Engineering Groups, Global Delivery, Customer Support and Services, and R&D Centers globally.
  2. Collaborative Planning. Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to prioritize and strategize infrastructure and services roadmap for all Microsoft locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  3. User Experience Enhancement. Engage with Site Leadership Teams to set and exceed user expectations, driving continuous improvement in user experience across Microsoft sites.
  4. Customer Engagement. Lead impactful customer engagements to support revenue generation, market expansion, and enhance Customer and Partner Experience, thereby contributing to Microsoft's global success.

Qualifications

  1. Experience. Demonstrate a proven track record in IT operations or service management for multi-site/multi-country organizations, with expertise in infrastructure deployment, user support, or IT management.
  2. Language Proficiency. Fluent in English language, with exceptional written and oral communication skills. Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  3. Education. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
  4. Leadership Skills. Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively across different time zones and cultures.
  5. Certifications. ITIL/Six Sigma/PMP/Agile Certifications desirable.
  6. Flexibility. Willingness to travel regionally and internationally, with the ability to adapt to ambiguity and respond effectively to unplanned demands.
  7. Customer Focus. High emphasis on customer satisfaction, with a relentless drive to exceed customer expectations.
