Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer at IBM in Bengaluru East, you will play a pivotal role in developing AI solutions. You will be responsible for.
- Proof of Concept (POC) Development. Designing and developing POCs to validate and demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of AI solutions. Collaborating closely with development teams to iterate on POCs based on customer requirements.
- Customer Engagement and Support. Serving as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback during solution deployment. Providing guidance on best practices and use cases related to AI technologies.
- Industry Trends and Innovation. Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI, including foundation models and large language models. Evaluating emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance solution design and implementation.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in multiple front-end languages and libraries such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with multiple back-end languages (e.g., Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js).
- Strong understanding of Cloud architecture, including Containers, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of IBM Integration solutions such as API Connect and Appconnect.
- Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers (e.g., Apache).
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, articulate technical challenges and solutions in a client-centric environment.
- Business acumen to comprehend customer needs and translate them into effective AI solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering engagement with stakeholders for analysis and implementation.
- Commitment to continuous learning, staying updated with technological advancements, and a growth mindset.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience in the full AI project lifecycle from research and prototyping to production deployment.
- Understanding of AI and/or data governance principles.
- Experience developing business automation or digital labor solutions.
- Knowledge of vector databases or open file formats such as Parquet and Avro.
