At IBM, we are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru East, Karnataka. In this role, you will contribute to building secure, scalable, and efficient systems for Z systems and IBM LinuxONE platforms. These systems are designed to help our enterprise customers deploy applications with high security and robust protection from cyber threats.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Fullstack Developer at IBM, you will be working on Z Systems to design and develop some of the most secure platforms for enterprise applications. You will help us build Secure Service Containers for IBM LinuxONE, enabling enhanced data protection and protection from insider threats. Additionally, you will contribute to features for Dynamic Partition Manager (DPM), allowing quicker and more efficient deployment of Linux servers on mainframe systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, high-performance systems using Z systems.
- Enhance the LinuxONE platform by integrating container-based solutions, providing enterprises with secure, on-premise deployment options.
- Work on backend and frontend development using technologies like Java, JavaScript, Python, and ReactJS.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, integrate different system components, and manage secure communication between microservices.
- Focus on containerization and cloud technologies to deliver flexible, scalable solutions.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications to ensure high availability and continuous performance.
- Implement security-focused features and ensure data integrity and privacy across all solutions.
- Work on securing systems to guard against cyber threats and ensure compliance with security regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to gather requirements, plan solutions, and deliver secure, reliable systems.
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement through iterative Agile development cycles.
- Leverage DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment cycles.
- Implement automated CI/CD pipelines to improve the speed and quality of deployments.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, and ReactJS.
- Strong understanding of OS concepts, container technologies, and virtualization management.
- Experience with REST API development and cloud platforms.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Integration practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global, collaborative environment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Z Systems experience or familiarity with mainframe technology.
- Understanding of Private Cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to cloud-native development and IBM Cloud.
- Experience in cybersecurity, data protection, and enterprise-grade security practices.
- Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
