We are seeking an experienced Informatica Administrator to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Informatica software and infrastructure. You will manage Informatica repositories and metadata, oversee performance optimization, and ensure the smooth operation of ETL processes. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting and resolving issues, developing disaster recovery plans, and providing technical support to Informatica developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Informatica Software Management. Install, configure, and maintain Informatica software and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Repository & Metadata Management. Oversee Informatica repositories, manage metadata, and enforce security and access controls.
- Performance Monitoring. Continuously monitor and optimize Informatica performance, including server resources, database performance, and network connectivity.
- Issue Resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Informatica infrastructure, ETL processes, mappings, and workflows.
- Disaster Recovery. Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans to safeguard Informatica infrastructure.
- Documentation. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and user guides for Informatica infrastructure and processes.
- Technical Support. Provide expert technical support to Informatica developers, including guidance on best practices and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Experience. Proven experience in Informatica administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Technical Skills. Strong knowledge of Informatica software, ETL processes, and data integration technologies.
- Tools Expertise. Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and Data Quality tools.
- Problem-Solving. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Communication. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Database Management. Experience with database management and SQL programming.
- Operating Systems. Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting languages.
- ITIL Knowledge. Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices for service management.
