We are seeking an experienced Java Architect to join our team as a Lead Assistant Manager. In this role, you will be an individual contributor responsible for designing and upgrading architectural systems to support both current and future Java applications. You will leverage your expertise in Java technologies to develop and implement effective solutions, ensuring end-to-end application functionality from front-end to back-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement new architectural systems and upgrade existing ones for Java applications.
- Develop solutions using a comprehensive understanding of Java technologies and best practices.
- Create and manage end-to-end application processes, including front-end web development, back-end development, middleware integration, and data persistence.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and SOAP web services, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Utilize strong PL/SQL skills to manage and manipulate Oracle databases effectively.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
Must Have Skills
- Proficiency in Java 8, Core and Advanced Java.
- Strong knowledge of JSE, JEE, and Spring Framework (versions 3/4).
- Extensive experience with Oracle PL/SQL and embedded SQL.
- Understanding of design patterns and Java Messaging Services (JMS).
- Experience implementing SOAP and RESTful web services.
Good To Have Skills
- Familiarity with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL.
- Understanding of .NET technologies and frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of Java and Spring.
- Experience with ORM tools such as iBatis, MyBatis, Hibernate, or JPA.
- Experience in database procedures and PL/SQL development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative thinker.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum of 15 years of full-time education.
- Bachelor’s degree from a Tier-1 college preferred.
