We are seeking a skilled Mendix Developer/Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Mendix Developer/Lead, you will leverage your extensive experience with low-code development on the Mendix platform to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust applications. Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, implement best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Mendix applications in accordance with project requirements.
- Utilize strong data modeling skills to design efficient data structures within Mendix applications.
- Implement web front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, or React to enhance user interfaces.
- Apply architecture patterns like microservices, event-driven architecture, and layered architecture.
- Integrate applications with databases (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and external systems using REST, SOAP, XML, or HTTP protocols.
- Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient application delivery.
- Deploy applications on cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry, or Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with Mendix platform capabilities and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications on the Mendix low-code platform.
- Strong understanding of Mendix platform capabilities and best practices.
- Proficiency in web front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, React) and modern UI frameworks.
- Experience with architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, layered).
- Solid understanding of database technologies (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and integration protocols (REST, SOAP, XML, HTTP).
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
