Join our Finance Technology department within Middle Office, Risk & Back Office Technology at a Global Financial Institution. As an experienced Regulatory Reporting Developer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing Capital and Liquidity reporting using the Moody's Risk Authority (Moody's RAY) application.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate processing of Capital Adequacy reporting (CoREP), Liquidity Risk reporting (LCR), ALMM, NSFR, PRA110, and Financial Reports (FINREP) within SLA schedules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical developers, and business analysts to address reporting queries, adhere to regulations, and work on new requirements and enhancements.
- Develop efficient ETL routines using stored procedures and external tables to load data into the Moody's RAY datamart.
- Aggregate large datasets (<10m) using database technologies for risk computations.
- Build batch processes using scheduling software like Control-M.
- Provide support on overnight batch processes, enhancing efficiency as needed.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts on defining solutions and testing strategies.
- Work closely with Regulatory Reporting, Finance, and Treasury teams to address adhoc queries.
- Demonstrate expertise in regulatory reporting, BASEL III/IV regulations, and related components.
- Collaborate with IT teams on technical specifications and software delivery.
- Conduct testing, including end-of-day processing in Moody's Risk Authority, and interpret test results.
- Ensure compliance with change control policies and rigorous testing of system changes.
- Follow best practices in design and architecture, and contribute to test strategy development.
- Package artifacts using industry-standard repositories such as SVN, SDA, and TeamCity.
- Coordinate release of project changes with Business as Usual (BaU) teams.
- Provide post-live support and remediate changes as needed.
Skills
Must Have
- Solid experience with Oracle databases and Moody's applications.
- Strong understanding of Moody’s RAY platform and its underlying database tables.
- Experience in Moody's Production BAU support.
- Proficiency in SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, ETL techniques, and reporting technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of performance tuning Oracle database queries and processes.
- Experience with regulatory application software such as Axiom, Vermeg, Abacus 360.
- Familiarity with scheduling software like Control-M, Autosys, Tivoli.
- Ability to manage enhancement requests and write technical specifications.
- Experience in testing software and working with stakeholders on User Acceptance Testing.
- Understanding of BASEL regulatory framework, COREP reporting, and Liquidity reporting.
- Project lifecycle understanding and ability to minimize business disruption.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

- Previous experience with databases deployed in the Cloud.
