Luxoft is seeking a seasoned .NET and Azure API Developer with DevOps expertise to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with a group of talented software developers to create new APIs and ensure the smooth functioning of existing ones within the Azure environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update detailed documentation including design specifications, API documentation, and user guides.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs using .NET and Azure technologies.
- Enhance existing APIs to meet functional requirements and performance benchmarks.
- Continuously assess and optimize API performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API functionality and performance issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow industry best practices, security guidelines, and compliance requirements to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Participate in and contribute to code and design review sessions.
- Create and implement unit test frameworks using .NET testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest, xUnit.net).
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in API development and DevOps.
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MCA or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming & Design Patterns.
- Practical experience in C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Web APIs.
- Proficient in utilizing Azure services (Function Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault, Managed Identity, and other PaaS offerings).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
- Knowledgeable in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (ARM templates, Azure DevOps, Git, and Agile methodologies).
- Strong experience with Microservices architecture & Microservice Design Patterns.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- High level of initiative and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Nice-to-Have Skills. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions).
