Virtusa is seeking a dedicated .NET Support professional to join our team in Bangalore. This role involves providing Level 2 support for .NET applications hosted on Azure, ensuring seamless operation and minimal disruption to business processes. You will troubleshoot and resolve application issues, monitor system performance, and collaborate with various teams to maintain high standards of application support. Key Responsibilities
- Application Support. Provide L2 support for .NET applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure minimal business disruption.
- Performance Monitoring. Monitor application performance and system health, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Collaboration. Work closely with L1 support, development teams, and other stakeholders to resolve complex technical problems.
- Root Cause Analysis. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Documentation. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and standard operating procedures.
- Deployment & Configuration. Assist in deploying and configuring applications and updates within the Azure environment.
- SQL Querying. Execute SQL queries to retrieve data, diagnose issues, and provide insights for application support.
- On-Call Support. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical applications.
- User Communication. Communicate effectively with users, providing timely updates on issue resolution and system status.
Required Qualifications
- Experience. Proven experience in application support, specifically with .NET, Azure, and SQL.
- Technical Skills. Strong understanding of the .NET framework and C# programming; experience with Azure cloud services, including App Services, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
- SQL Proficiency. Skilled in writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.
- Problem-Solving. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Communication. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Teamwork. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- On-Call Rotation. Willingness to participate in on-call support rotation.
Preferred Skills
- ITIL Knowledge. Familiarity with the ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Automation. Experience with automation tools and techniques to streamline support processes.
- Additional Cloud Platforms. Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Industry Experience. Previous experience in a financial or technology-driven environment is advantageous.
