We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 4-8 years of experience in software testing, specializing in performance testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in using performance testing tools and frameworks such as JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, or Gatling. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Shell is essential for this role. You will be responsible for conducting performance tests, analyzing results, and identifying performance bottlenecks using tools like New Relic, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct performance testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks (JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, Gatling).
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
- Analyze performance test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Utilize performance monitoring and profiling tools (New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace) to optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve performance issues and optimize application performance.
- Integrate performance tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI.
- Document performance test results, findings, and recommendations for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on performance testing.
- Strong proficiency in performance testing tools and frameworks (JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, Gatling).
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
- Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools (New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
- Solid understanding of continuous integration and delivery tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
