As a Principal Software Developer, you will serve as a technical interface for customers, OEMs, and VARs, focusing on resolving issues related to the installation, maintenance, and use of Oracle products. You will leverage your extensive experience in Oracle products and platforms to lead development and support projects, providing high-level solutions and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical contact for Oracle products, providing expert solutions and support to customers, OEMs, and VARs.
- Development & Troubleshooting: Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for databases, applications, tools, and networks.
- Customer Interaction: Work closely with customers across different time zones, addressing their needs and ensuring high-quality service and support.
- Project Management: Lead development and support projects, managing the complete development pipeline, including scope, time, cost, and delivery.
- CEMLI Development: Design, develop, and test CEMLI objects, including identifying impacts of patches and minimizing disruption to business.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the support team in incident and problem management, providing innovative solutions and ensuring effective resolution.
- Documentation & Reporting: Provide regular progress, status, and risk updates on development activities. Document solutions and technical specifications.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle products (technical/functional), including a minimum of 2 years in leadership roles involving customer-facing activities.
- Expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP Financials (GL, AP, AR, Procurement, AHCS, AGIS).
- Proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Unix, Forms, Reports, XML/BI Publisher, Workflow, OA Framework, OTBI, XML/HTML, DBCS.
- Knowledge of OIC & ODI.
- Experience in the development/support of CEMLIs and implementation using Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts, based in Bangalore or Hyderabad.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related fields, with a 3.0 GPA or equivalent professional/technical experience.
