Job Description

As a Product Engineer at Accenture, you will play a crucial role in transforming industries through innovative product solutions. This role involves collaborating with clients to reimagine their core businesses and develop new products that address evolving market needs. You will bridge the gap between strategic vision, technical execution, and creative design, leveraging Accenture’s methodologies to drive product success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Development. Partner with clients to develop, release, and manage new products. Use Accenture’s frameworks like technical event storming and design thinking to guide product creation.
  2. Strategic Collaboration. Work closely with industry leaders, Accenture teams, and technology partners to define and realize product visions.
  3. Product Lifecycle Management. Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  4. Innovation. Lead workshops and design sessions to craft innovative solutions, integrating strategic domain models and agile methodologies.
  5. Cross-functional Leadership. Act as a liaison between stakeholders, designers, and developers, translating strategic objectives into actionable goals and features.

Preferred Industry Experience

  1. Financial Services. Experience in banking, payments, or fintech product development.
  2. Aerospace/Defense. Experience in aerospace/defense product management or military service.
  3. Supply Chain/Logistics. Experience in supply chain or logistics product development.

Qualifications
Required

  • Experience. Minimum 3 years in a professional setting within an agile team, with a focus on product ownership and business analysis.
  • Skills. Expertise in event storming, design thinking, and agile methodologies.
  • Education. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 12 years).

Preferred

  1. Agile Frameworks. Familiarity with multiple agile and scrum frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
  2. Tools. Experience with agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  3. Cloud Platforms. Knowledge of major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  4. Architecture. Experience with modern architecture patterns including API and event-driven architectures.
  5. Development Practices. Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD).

Annual Salary Range

  1. California. $73,000 to $192,600
  2. Colorado. $73,000 to $166,400
  3. District of Columbia. $77,700 to $177,200
  4. New York. $67,600 to $192,600
  5. Maryland. $67,600 to $154,100
  6. Washington. $77,700 to $177,200
