Job Description

Infosys BPM is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and manage key programs and projects. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from proposal preparation to execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Proposal Preparation. Lead and participate in proposal preparation, design solutions, prepare and review estimations, and capture stakeholder inputs to position Infosys BPM effectively for winning deals.
  2. Contract Delivery. Provide input on delivery aspects to limit financial risk, facilitate requirement gathering, conduct workshops, issue clarifications, and ensure documentation accuracy and stakeholder sign-off.
  3. Estimation and Resource Planning. Oversee estimation activities, review estimates, and plan budget and resources. Prepare comprehensive resource plans including people, space, and infrastructure.
  4. Project Management. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on-time and within budget. Manage assigned programs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  5. Risk Management. Develop and maintain a Risk Management Plan, identifying risks and mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
  6. Program Scheduling. Create and maintain end-to-end program schedules, including business requirements, application development, QA, and implementation. Monitor performance against schedules.
  7. Customer Relationship Management. Build formal and informal customer relationships, manage expectations, and provide regular reports. Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for program-related activities.
  8. Change Management. Define and maintain change management plans across client and delivery teams, ensuring scope and timelines are tracked and communicated effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Program Management Experience. Proven experience in program management with strong skills in overseeing project lifecycles.
  • Certifications. Program/Project management certifications such as PMP, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent recognized internationally.
  • Business Process Management (BPM). Conceptual knowledge of BPM applications.
  • Stakeholder Management. Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and build consensus.
  • Leadership and Communication. Outstanding leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills. Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Team Collaboration. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and coordinate cross-project activities.

Preferred Qualifications.

  1. Experience. Extensive experience in program management, preferably with a focus on IT services and consulting.
  2. Skills. High learnability index, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to manage complex projects and programs.
