We are seeking a seasoned professional with a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Candidates with three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education will also be considered. The ideal candidate should have 12-14 years of experience in Information Technology, with a tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Roles and Responsibilities
- 6-8 years of experience as a Senior Test Manager/Program Test Manager.
- Extensive experience in Test Management and Testing environments.
- Experience in embedding test resources into Agile teams for System Testing (ST) and Integrated Acceptance Testing (IAT) phases.
- Automation knowledge and experience with Selenium, Cucumber-BDD, Java Scripting, Rest Assured API automation, and Selenium Grid usage.
- Experience with build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, Git, Bitbucket, ALM/JIRA XRAY (nice to have).
- Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins/Bamboo (nice to have).
- Demonstrated experience managing and building effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Experience in test execution analysis and reporting.
- Ability to develop and execute a testing strategy, test design, and design the test automation framework for uplift of testing delivery through practice uplift.
- Applied understanding and experience with Design Thinking, Process Design & Lean Methodology, and Systems Development Methodologies Agile, LD, JAD, RAD, Scrum, SDLC, SAFE.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Program and people management experience.
- Ability to work closely with the Testing practice for uplift and tooling.
- Experience in contributing to PI planning and estimating testing efforts.
- Experience in providing technical and stakeholder management guidance to onshore leads.
- Proven experience working with dev teams implementing test-driven development and shifting testing responsibility left.
- Proven experience building robust automation capabilities and embedding them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience developing valuable agile quality/testing metrics.
- Proven delivery experience in a Scaled Agile Framework environment.
- Experience working in transformation programs in the banking domain.
- Significant experience working on core banking platforms involving applications running on mainframes.
- Proficient in leveraging legacy systems like MF Cobol Unix, JCL, and DB2.
- Experience with HOGAN CORE banking (preferable).
- Knowledge of transaction processing.
- Well-versed in data migration testing and developing strategies for both functional and non-functional testing.
- Proven experience handling vendors, developers, project managers, business analysts, and other teams to ensure excellence in test delivery.
Essential Skills
- Develop the test strategy/approach for assigned projects.
- Responsible for periodic reporting of test quality status to ensure all relevant stakeholders are appropriately informed of progress.
- Manage the delivery of test processes, task allocations, methodologies, measurements, and deliverables across all technologies while adhering to enterprise-level processes.
- Lead and develop a team in accordance with the organization’s people and processes, including developing optimal structures and clear accountabilities, maximizing employee performance, and providing mentoring and coaching.
- Execute strategic business plans across projects to align with enterprise testing services' strategic objectives for continuous improvement and consistent quality of service delivery.
