Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with significant experience in Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hive, and Hadoop. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python programming, CI/CD practices, and version control systems like GitHub, Bitbucket, or SVN. This role requires someone who is adaptable to learning new programming languages and technologies, and who excels in a Linux/Unix environment.

Primary Skills

  1. Python. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience.
  2. Big Data. Proficiency in working with distributed systems using Spark and Hive in large-scale production environments.
  3. CI/CD. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, or SVN.
  4. Linux/Unix. Well-versed with Linux/Unix tools and environments.
  5. Communication Skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
  6. Education. BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field with a solid mathematical foundation.

Good To Have

  • Experience in application development and integration on IaaS/PaaS platforms such as GCP, AWS, VMWare, or OpenStack.
  • Expertise in building fast and scalable machine learning and analytical algorithms, from design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in developing Web services, micro-services, and REST APIs.
  • Background in Data Engineering.
