Job Description

As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of top-notch software solutions by enabling full stack capabilities through meticulous testing strategies. Your focus will be on driving quality across the application lifecycle, with an emphasis on continuous testing, automation, and collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Test Development. Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures, both manually and through automation using Selenium.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and issues, ensuring seamless integration and alignment across the development process.
  3. Code Reviews and Defect Management. Participate actively in code reviews, diligently monitor and report defects, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the end-to-end testing process.
  4. Environment Configuration. Create and maintain test data and environments to ensure accuracy and reliability in testing results.
  5. Automation Frameworks. Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium, aimed at enhancing testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills

  1. Essential Skills. Proficiency in Selenium is a must.
  2. Desirable Skills. Experience with Test Management tools.
  3. Methodologies and Processes. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
  4. Automation Tools. Experience with various test automation tools and frameworks.
  5. Defect Tracking. Proficiency in defect tracking and reporting tools.
  6. Programming Proficiency. Solid grasp of programming languages such as Java or Python.

Additional Information

  1. Experience Requirement. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Selenium testing is essential.
  2. Educational Background. Ideal candidates will possess a BTech or MCA degree, coupled with a strong educational background in computer science or related fields.
