We're seeking skilled Python Developers to join our dynamic team working on an innovative 5G benchmarking tool project. This project focuses on developing cutting-edge solutions for testing and monitoring the core of modern telecom networks, specifically leveraging 3GPP's 5G Services Based Architecture. Our current product utilizes containerized micro-services built with the latest technologies including Docker, Asynchronous Python, HTTP/2, and OpenAPIv3, among others. This is an opportunity to contribute to a project at the forefront of telecom standards and networking technologies.
Responsibilities
- Expertise Development. Become proficient in 5G Service Based Architecture, particularly in the RIC OpenRAN testing domain.
- Feature Development. Collaborate with product management to translate customer requirements into product features.
- Functionality Expansion. Enhance the capabilities of our 5G Network Functions.
- Quality Assurance. Ensure product quality and performance through automated testing integrated within a Continuous Integration system.
- Architectural Optimization. Identify and address architectural bottlenecks to improve product performance.
- User Interface Enhancement. Develop a user-friendly configuration and management interface for customers.
- Innovation. Continuously improve our solution to enhance integration, diagnostics, and customer support.
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of overall software development experience, with a focus on Python.
- Proficiency in Python Version 3 and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with InfluxDB, RedisDB, and documenting Micro-Services based architectures.
- Track record of taking a product from concept through delivery, supporting multiple releases.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with 5G O-RAN or 5GC.
- Experience with Grafana, Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, and cloud deployments.
- Proficiency in API development with REST and JSON payload.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in network and systems.
