What You’ll Be Doing
- Championing Agile Principles. Guide teams in the adoption and consistent application of Scrum practices and Agile values to help deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Building High-Performing Teams. Foster a culture of self-organization and accountability within the development teams while actively removing obstacles that might hinder progress.
- Agile Coaching. Evaluate team and organizational agility maturity levels, and coach stakeholders towards greater effectiveness using sustainable agile practices.
- Facilitating Collaboration. Create an environment of open communication, transparency, and continuous feedback to enable productive teamwork and swift decision-making.
- Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution. Empower teams to tackle challenges head-on, providing a safe space to address and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Supporting the Product Owner. Collaborate closely with Product Owners to help maintain a well-groomed, prioritized product backlog that reflects evolving business priorities.
- Leading by Example. Embody servant leadership principles being accessible, supportive, and an advocate for both the team and the customer.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team, with a strong grasp of Scrum theory, practices, and values.
- Solid understanding of various Agile methodologies such as XP, Kanban, Crystal, and Feature-Driven Development (FDD).
- Practical experience with Agile techniques like User Stories, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), and Continuous Integration.
- Comfortable working with engineering teams and having a foundational knowledge of technical concepts and tools used by the team.
- Excellent facilitation, mentoring, coaching, and communication skills to lead teams toward success.
