Job Description

As a UX Designer, you will collaborate with AI developers, legal experts, and product managers to design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for our AI applications. Your work will involve conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring the implementation of design solutions that meet user needs and enhance their experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into user-centered designs.
  • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and identify pain points.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using tools like Figma to communicate design concepts and user flows.
  • Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across our AI applications.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to optimize the user experience.
  • Stay current with UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the legal tech industry.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably in the legal tech or AI industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, natural language processing, and legal language models is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking to overcome design challenges.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education & Experience

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences Research, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically 4-7 years of work experience in UX design, preferably with a background in design principles, human factors engineering, or social sciences. An advanced degree with 3-5 years of experience is also acceptable.
