We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Team Lead to spearhead our Information Security - Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in GRC platforms, cloud services, and software development, coupled with exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a visionary leader who can mentor and guide a diverse team, ensuring high standards of professionalism and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Mentorship
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members of all experience levels.
- Act as a role model for professionalism and technical expertise.
- Coach team members to enhance their skills and career development.
- Oversee the development and implementation of GRC solutions while supporting junior team members.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure cohesive GRC practices.
- Mentor the team in Project Management Lifecycle and Iterative PM and PLC methodologies.
Technical Expertise
- Lead the design and development of GRC solutions using platforms such as Archer, OneTrust, BigID, and Securiti.
- Manage integrations with cloud providers, SaaS software, and combined SaaS/on-prem solutions.
- Oversee programming and scripting in Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA (Hibernate), Java8, Shell, NodeJS, Python, and R.
- Guide web application development using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular Framework, and React Framework.
- Supervise database management and integration for Oracle 12c, MS SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, Postgres, and MySQL.
- Manage SOAP and REST API integration.
- Lead DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automation tools including Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Administer source control and collaboration tools like Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, Team Forge, Atlassian/Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Administer application servers including IIS, Nginx, WebSphere 9, Tomcat, Redis 3.0.7, and RHEL 8.
Project Execution
- Design, develop, test, and deploy complex GRC systems in alignment with client and business requirements.
- Define and oversee system and load testing in collaboration with the Load Test team and business analysts.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for multiple applications, guiding Business Analysts and System and Data Architects.
- Coordinate defect correction during testing cycles and assist team members with completion.
- Oversee the creation of technical requirements and system documentation.
Strategic Planning
- Lead the design of solutions that address both short-term and long-term business needs.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies that benefit the organization.
- Articulate the functions and dependencies of supported and interfacing business areas.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) (Preferred).
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA (Hibernate), Java8, Shell, NodeJS, Python, and R (5 years Preferred).
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap (5 years Preferred).
- Extensive experience with Angular Framework, React Framework (10 years Preferred).
- Strong background in Oracle 12c, MS SQL Server, DB2 (5 years Preferred).
- Experience with SOAP and REST API Integration (5 years Preferred).
- Knowledge of Postgres and MySQL (5 years Preferred).
- Proficiency in Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, XL Release, Maven (5 years Preferred).
- Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, Team Forge (5 years Preferred).
Certifications
- Technical and InfoSec certifications such as CISA, CISSP, etc. (Preferred).
Education
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a similar field.
