Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial Reconciliation Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transaction records, resolving discrepancies, and enhancing our reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, and the ability to manage complex issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Transaction Verification. Review and verify transaction records to ensure accuracy and completeness of entries in financial systems.
  2. Discrepancy Resolution. Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
  3. Reporting. Prepare and maintain detailed reports outlining reconciled and unreconciled differences for both internal and external audit purposes.
  4. Process Improvement. Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to streamline reconciliation processes and enhance financial data integrity.
  5. Compliance and Controls. Implement and adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements related to financial reconciliations.
  6. SOP Development. Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reconciliation processes to ensure adherence to best practices.
