In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transaction records, resolving discrepancies, and enhancing our reconciliation processes. Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Verification. Review and verify transaction records to ensure accuracy and completeness of entries in financial systems.
- Discrepancy Resolution. Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
- Reporting. Prepare and maintain detailed reports outlining reconciled and unreconciled differences for both internal and external audit purposes.
- Process Improvement. Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to streamline reconciliation processes and enhance financial data integrity.
- Compliance and Controls. Implement and adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements related to financial reconciliations.
- SOP Development. Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reconciliation processes to ensure adherence to best practices.
