Job Description

We’re looking for someone with a solid background in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in ServiceNow configurations and customizations, along with a strategic mindset to drive platform optimization and business value.

This role is a mix of hands-on technical delivery and proactive platform management, where you'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless service operations and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow solutions aligned with best practices and business needs.
  • Build and maintain complex custom applications and workflows on top of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Manage the day-to-day product backlog, prioritize work based on business needs, eliminate blockers, and ensure a clear flow of deliverables.
  • Drive platform enhancements proactively by identifying automation opportunities and working closely with business users to refine requirements.
  • Participate in the development and evolution of the platform roadmap and contribute to continuous service improvements.
  • Leverage advanced automation techniques including scripted workflows, integrations with external systems, and orchestration to streamline operations.
  • Uphold technical governance by ensuring design consistency, performance optimization, and alignment with platform standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, business analysts, and other development teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Deliver a seamless and engaging user experience through robust design and intuitive functionality.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in implementing and customizing ServiceNow modules and applications.
  • Strong experience in ServiceNow core platform areas such as Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
  • Proven expertise in scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs), business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and data policies.
  • Solid experience in integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools and systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other standard protocols.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence platform enhancements and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow certifications (such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, etc.) are a strong plus.
