Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in software development with proficiency in one or more programming languages and a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Google Cloud, Cloud Networking, and TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of multicast, telemetry, SmartNICs, and high-performance data path designs and implementations.
- Proficiency in C++, Software Architecture, Distributed Systems, Networking Protocols, and Network Virtualization.
Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation. Develop and implement the data path engine, a crucial component within Google Cloud Platform, focusing on high-performance packet processing applications.
- Innovation. Enhance multicast traffic distribution within the cloud, overcoming existing limitations and expanding capabilities.
- Technical Leadership. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and innovation within the team.
