We're embarking on an exciting journey to migrate a large legacy Retail Platform from Oracle ATG to Spring Boot microservices for a major retail corporation. As part of our team, you'll be instrumental in developing applications for critical functionalities such as Customer/Profile management, Login systems, and the API Gateway.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Provide expert support for a range of technologies running on virtual machines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
Skills Required
Must-Have
- Linux. Proficient in system management, configuration, monitoring, and security across various distributions like Ubuntu, CentOS, and RedHat.
- CI/CD. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for building and deploying pipelines.
- Git. Extensive knowledge of version control, including branching, merging, and repository management.
- Scripting. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and system tasks.
- Docker. Competence in creating and managing Docker containers along with familiarity with best practices.
- Microsoft Azure. Experience with Azure VMs, Functions, Storage, and Networking.
Nice-to-Have
- Gradle. Proficiency in Gradle build automation tool.
- Kubernetes. Familiarity with container orchestration for scalable deployment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Linux administration, CI/CD implementation, and Git.
- Proficiency in scripting languages with at least 1 year of experience.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Azure technologies for at least 1 year.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Gradle is a plus.
