We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Server Provisioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the installation, configuration, and management of both physical and virtual servers. This position is perfect for someone who has a foundational understanding of operating systems, cloud platforms, and basic troubleshooting skills, and is eager to expand their expertise in server management and provisioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Server Setup & Configuration. Assist in provisioning and configuring physical and virtual servers to meet operational requirements.
- Troubleshooting. Identify and resolve basic server issues, escalating when necessary to ensure quick resolution.
- Collaboration. Work closely with senior engineers to support day-to-day server operations, ensuring uptime and optimal performance.
- Documentation. Maintain accurate documentation of server setups, configurations, and processes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Learning & Growth. Stay updated with emerging technologies and develop skills in automation, cloud environments, and virtualization.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of server operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
- Understanding of networking concepts, storage, and virtualization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A strong eagerness to learn and grow in server provisioning and management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to tools like VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud provisioning systems.
- Knowledge of basic security practices for servers.

Qualifications
This role requires some problem-solving abilities, with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. Candidates should be gaining competence in their area while acquiring a deeper understanding of roles, processes, and procedures. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area is preferred. We welcome applicants with 0-2 years of previous software engineering or related experience.
