Job Description

As a Service Desk Analyst at Infosys, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving IT issues for users. This role is crucial in ensuring minimal disruption to users' work by managing and troubleshooting various IT-related problems in a 24/7 shift environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Issue Resolution. Provide first-line support to users by resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network.
  2. Incident Management. Manage and track service desk incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  3. User Assistance. Assist users with technical problems, guiding them through troubleshooting steps and solutions.
  4. Shift Work. Be willing to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including nights and weekends, as required.
  5. Prioritization. Manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring high levels of service and support.
  6. Learning. Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to enhance problem-solving capabilities.
  7. Adaptability. Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems as they are introduced.

Collaboration

  1. Teamwork. Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective problem resolution.
  2. Communication. Maintain excellent communication with users and team members, providing clear updates and resolutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  1. Experience. 2-5 years of prior technical service desk experience.
  2. Communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Problem-Solving. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  4. Adaptability. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  5. Teamwork. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  6. Pressure Handling. Capability to work efficiently under pressure and manage stress effectively.

Secondary Skills

  1. Technological Proficiency. Familiarity with various IT systems and technologies.
  2. Customer Service. Strong customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
  3. Documentation. Ability to document incidents, resolutions, and processes accurately.
