Job Description

Join Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) and be at the forefront of designing, developing, testing, and debugging cutting-edge software applications. You will be instrumental in creating applications used by end users and those integrated with other applications by ISVs. This role covers the full application stack, including both frontend and backend development, using modern software development methodologies and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and debug software applications.
  • Use modern software development methodologies and programming languages.
  • Follow secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines.
  • Analyze user stories and write both functional and test code.
  • Automate build and deployment processes.
  • Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of applications.
  • Complete SDL tasks with assistance from product security engineers.
  • Provide input to technical writers for product documentation and procedures.
  • Interact with end users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
  • 5-7 years of industry experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Varicent ICM (certification(s) in this area is a plus).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development with a strong teamwork ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales Incentive domain knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL or RDBMS-driven scripting, SFDC, JavaScript, Python, React, Varicent ELT.
  • Experience in AI development, including computer vision, machine intelligence, deep learning, and/or large language models.
  • Comfortable working across geographical locations.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with a collaborative problem-solving approach.

Inside Intel's Information Technology Group

Intel's IT group is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes managing the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore services, and enterprise applications. The group also handles e-Commerce development, data hosting, and web content delivery services.
