Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Oracle, you will leverage your knowledge of software architecture to develop, debug, and design software applications or operating systems. You will work within our innovative team, applying your expertise to enhance existing architectures and propose improvements based on emerging needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Core Java Expertise. Demonstrate a strong understanding of core Java and design patterns utilized in Java/J2EE applications.
  2. Microservices Development. Develop microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Eureka, ensuring efficient, scalable applications.
  3. Data Management. Manage transactions effectively with hands-on experience in JPA and SQL, particularly with Oracle databases.
  4. Security Implementation. Implement security protocols using JWT and OAuth to protect user data.
  5. System Design Knowledge. Apply knowledge of system design and architecture to develop robust solutions.
  6. Web Services Development. Build and maintain RESTful services and work with frameworks such as Hibernate and Spring.
  7. Application Servers. Experience with application servers like WebLogic or Tomcat is essential.
  8. Cloud Solutions. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud technologies is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring frameworks, and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in SQL, particularly in Oracle database environments.
  • Experience with system design principles and architecture methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to provide technical leadership to peers.
