Job Description

As a Software Developer III on the Augmented Reality (AR) team, you'll be at the forefront of creating immersive computing experiences that are accessible to millions of users. You'll work on critical projects, developing innovative solutions in AR that push the boundaries of technology and user interaction.

Responsibilities

  1. Software Development. Write and maintain product or system development code, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  2. Design Reviews. Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select appropriate technologies and solutions.
  3. Code Review. Review code developed by other developers, providing feedback on best practices, efficiency, and testability.
  4. Documentation. Contribute to and adapt existing documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
  5. Issue Resolution. Triage and debug product or system issues, analyzing sources of issues and their impact on operations and quality.

Key Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in an academic or industry setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • 2 years of experience with performance analysis, large-scale systems data analysis, and visualization tools.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis, and software test development.

  • Engage in full-cycle software development, from design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Solve complex problems related to AR technologies and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of experts to build and enhance immersive computing experiences.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ($136,000 - $200,000 per year).
  • Additional compensation includes bonus, equity, and benefits.
