As a Security Development Engineer at Adobe, you'll join a dedicated team focused on building security tools and automations from the ground up. Key Responsibilities
- Develop Security Tools. Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable security solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate repetitive tasks.
- Evaluate and Integrate. Assess external security tools and provide recommendations, integrating them to meet Adobe’s custom requirements.
- Collaborate and Scale. Partner with Security Architects and other functions to define requirements and help scale our platform, maturing our tooling and processes.
Requirements
- Experience. 1-3 years in developing security-related tools/software.
- Security Knowledge. Understanding of the latest security principles and techniques.
- AWS Proficiency. Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and security suites (IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Programming Skills. Relevant experience in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Web Development. Experience with frameworks like AngularJS and ReactJS.
- DevSecOps Expertise. Understanding and experience with DevSecOps principles and containerized systems.
- Tech Proficiency. Familiarity with modern infrastructure technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Problem-Solving. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Team Player. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Communication. Strong verbal and data communication skills.
- Adaptability. Comfortable with short-term complexity and can work towards long-term simplicity.
