As a Software Engineer in the WSO team, you will contribute to the design and development of scalable, robust, and high-quality applications. You’ll collaborate with talented engineers across global offices including India, Dallas, and Manchester and work closely with business stakeholders to ensure our solutions directly support and evolve with business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy reliable, scalable applications using modern Microsoft technologies (.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#).
- Participate actively in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) from concept to deployment.
- Collaborate across teams in Agile environments and take part in all scrum ceremonies.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and application logic in a cloud or hybrid environment.
- Write and maintain clear documentation including technical design specifications and architecture diagrams.
- Work with product owners and business analysts to interpret and refine requirements into elegant software solutions.
- Support existing applications and troubleshoot issues as part of production support and post-deployment monitoring.
- Create and manage database queries and stored procedures in SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Ensure code quality and stability by developing and executing unit tests and leveraging automated testing frameworks.
- Leverage best practices in coding standards, software design, and DevOps pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4–6 years of hands-on software development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server or PostgreSQL, RESTful API development, Windows or Linux environments
- Solid understanding of OOP, OOD, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to work independently or within a team.
Bonus/Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture and API integration.
- Familiarity with NuGet package creation and maintenance.
- Exposure to Docker, Splunk, and Artifactory.
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred).
- Working knowledge of RabbitMQ, Redis, Python, Unity, SimpleInjector.
- Understanding of financial systems, especially related to asset management or portfolio servicing.
