LinkedIn’s Ops Intel team is seeking a Senior Automation Developer for our Bengaluru office. As a pivotal member of our Central Operations within the Global Business Org, you will drive efficiency and scale through automation. This hybrid role offers flexibility, allowing you to work both from home and in our office, as required by your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Automation Architecture: Develop scalable automation solutions, aiming for a 10X increase in automation footprint.
- Bot Development and Maintenance: Build, maintain, and scale a large portfolio of bots and workflows with a focus on sustainability.
- Technical Solutions: Create innovative technical solutions involving multi-technology integrations for Intelligent Automation.
- Impact Measurement: Evaluate the business impact of automation, ensuring adherence to pre and post-deployment standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with global stakeholders, influencing automation adoption through effective collaboration.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire bot lifecycle from requirement gathering to hyper-care and support, with minimal assistance.
- Bot Troubleshooting: Analyze, design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot bots across various business functions.
- Standards and Best Practices: Adhere to automation standards, frameworks, and best practices for bot development.
- Migration Management: Plan and manage bot migrations to newer software versions or infrastructure.
- 24/7 Operation: Develop bots capable of running continuously with minimal human intervention.
- Compliance and Documentation: Follow SDLC and change management protocols, ensuring IT and infosec compliance. Document procedures and design RPA solutions.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor bot velocity, reduce maintenance efforts, and track KPIs to report business impact.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere (A360) and Microsoft Power Platform, including bot design, development, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, or .NET), SQL, and VB scripts.
- Experience building and managing bots for at least 8-10 complex processes, covering the end-to-end lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success in automating web and windows-based applications with both attended and unattended bots.
- Ability to create solution design documents from process definition documents or recordings.
- Exposure to Azure Logic Apps and cognitive services.
- Experience with Intelligent Automation using OCR tools like IQBOT and AI/ML skills.
- Familiarity with other automation platforms such as UiPath or Blueprism.
- Experience with CRMs and Microsoft tools.
Desired Skills
- Expertise in Automation Anywhere.
