Key Responsibilities
- Innovative Software Solutions. Develop and implement creative software solutions. Apply your ability to think beyond conventional approaches to solve technical problems and build robust solutions.
- Code Development and Review. Write secure, high-quality production code. Review and debug code written by others, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Operational Stability. Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to enhance the operational stability of software applications and systems.
- Technical Leadership. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams. Assess architectural designs, technical credentials, and their applicability to existing systems and information architecture.
- Community Building. Foster a community of practice within Software Engineering. Drive awareness and adoption of new and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive Experience. 10+ years of software development and design experience in Java / J2EE.
- Spring and Spring Boot. Strong expertise in Java 1.8, Spring & Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Junit, Mockito / PowerMock.
- AWS Expertise. Highly desired experience in AWS programming (Lambda) and AWS services like S3, IAM, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, ECS, EC2, ALB, API Gateway, VPC, and security groups.
- UI Frameworks. Proficiency in Angular and React.
- Microservices. Deep understanding of microservices concepts and design patterns.
- Database Skills. Experience with PL/SQL, Oracle DB, JPA (Hibernate / iBatis / MyBatis).
- Containerization. Preferred experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
- NoSQL and Redis. Knowledge and experience with Redis and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Web Technologies. Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML.
- Security. Experience with OAuth, KeyCloak / OKTA.
- Build Tools and CI/CD. Experience with build tools like Maven and Gradle, and knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Chef.
