Job Description

The Sr. Marketing Manager - Content will be a pivotal member of the design and creative services team, responsible for crafting and managing compelling content strategies that support Grid Software’s goals. This role involves developing customer-facing and internal content that drives customer engagement, supports adoption of the GridOS portfolio, and equips internal teams with impactful messaging. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a passion for technology, capable of simplifying complex information into creative and engaging narratives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Strategy & Development. Develop and execute strategic editorial calendars and content across various channels and formats to engage both external and internal audiences effectively.
  2. Messaging & Campaigns. Create targeted messaging for account-based sales and marketing efforts. Develop content to attract new customers and boost existing customer adoption.
  3. Content Management. Oversee the content development process within the digital and creative services team, balancing writing, editing, and proofing tasks.
  4. Executive Communications. Write and edit high-level documents and presentations for C-suite audiences, both internally and for customers.
  5. Executive Briefings. Assemble weekly executive briefing books highlighting key developments in the GridOS portfolio, including product launches, new business, customer achievements, and partnerships.
  6. Internal Resource. Serve as a go-to resource for GridOS content across various business functions, ensuring alignment and consistency.
  7. Special Projects. Lead or participate in content development for special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Skills and Experience

  1. Experience. 10+ years in content strategy and development within a B2B software environment.
  2. Education. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  3. Writing Skills. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofing skills, with a portfolio demonstrating content that supports product launches, campaigns, and thought leadership.
  4. Storyboarding. Ability to storyboard messaging for internal presentations and videos.
  5. Organization. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Autonomy. Results-driven, self-starter with a focus on measurable impact.
  7. Project Management. Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  8. Leadership. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  9. Technical Proficiency. Proficiency with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.

Desired Characteristics

  1. Matrixed Organization Experience. Experience working within a large, matrixed organization.
  2. Executive Collaboration. Experience collaborating with executives.
  3. SharePoint Online. Experience designing and publishing content on SharePoint Online is a plus.
  4. Industry Knowledge. Understanding of industry market trends, including regulatory, legal, and technology needs.
