The Sr. Marketing Manager - Content will be a pivotal member of the design and creative services team, responsible for crafting and managing compelling content strategies that support Grid Software’s goals. This role involves developing customer-facing and internal content that drives customer engagement, supports adoption of the GridOS portfolio, and equips internal teams with impactful messaging. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a passion for technology, capable of simplifying complex information into creative and engaging narratives.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Development. Develop and execute strategic editorial calendars and content across various channels and formats to engage both external and internal audiences effectively.
- Messaging & Campaigns. Create targeted messaging for account-based sales and marketing efforts. Develop content to attract new customers and boost existing customer adoption.
- Content Management. Oversee the content development process within the digital and creative services team, balancing writing, editing, and proofing tasks.
- Executive Communications. Write and edit high-level documents and presentations for C-suite audiences, both internally and for customers.
- Executive Briefings. Assemble weekly executive briefing books highlighting key developments in the GridOS portfolio, including product launches, new business, customer achievements, and partnerships.
- Internal Resource. Serve as a go-to resource for GridOS content across various business functions, ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Special Projects. Lead or participate in content development for special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Experience. 10+ years in content strategy and development within a B2B software environment.
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Writing Skills. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofing skills, with a portfolio demonstrating content that supports product launches, campaigns, and thought leadership.
- Storyboarding. Ability to storyboard messaging for internal presentations and videos.
- Organization. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Autonomy. Results-driven, self-starter with a focus on measurable impact.
- Project Management. Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Leadership. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Technical Proficiency. Proficiency with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.
