Job Description

Gartner is seeking a Research Senior Specialist based in India to join our global Assurance (Audit & Risk) Peer and Practitioner Research team. This role offers an opportunity to delve into leadership-level strategic and management topics, focusing on creating content for the Audit & Risk product. You will investigate, analyze, and write about critical issues faced by auditors and audit executives in Fortune 500 organizations, contributing to transformative insights that shape operational strategies worldwide.

What You Will Do

  • Learn and apply Gartner's renowned methodology for conducting high-caliber research aimed at identifying best practices to address complex business challenges.
  • Analyze and interpret business problems using root cause analysis, hypothesis generation, survey design, benchmarking, and other qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Conduct primary research by engaging with auditors, audit leaders, senior executives, analysts, and advisors, supplemented by extensive secondary literature searches.
  • Independently create and manage key research deliverables such as white papers, libraries, presentations, webinars, templates, and how-to guides.
  • Collaborate closely with peers and senior stakeholders across global offices in India, the US, UK, and Australia to contribute to end-to-end project lifecycles, from inception to presentation.

Preferred Experience

  • Master's degree or PhD in fields such as Sociology, History, Philosophy, Literature, MBA, etc.
  • 3-5 years of experience in research and/or management consulting roles.
  • Proven ability to teach, convey ideas effectively, engage clients, and collaborate within global teams.
