Responsibilities
- Design Expertise. Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale using user-centered design processes.
- Visionary Leadership. Collaborate closely with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, and data science to deliver holistic design solutions that meet business, brand, and user requirements.
- Execution. Work closely with web developers and engineers to ensure final products meet design specifications and user expectations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (MDes/BDes or equivalent) in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web or software applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record in independently delivering large-scale projects that shape business futures, with specialization in a specific business area.
- Experience in the Trust and Safety domain is highly valued.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and consolidate work-streams effectively.
- Expertise in end-to-end customer experience, service design, and platform design.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and vision for projects and teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver design solutions for complex, unstructured problems.
- Excellent visual communication skills and the capacity to influence product strategy across teams.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to transform it into actionable plans.
