Responsibilities

  1. Design Expertise. Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale using user-centered design processes.
  2. Visionary Leadership. Collaborate closely with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, and data science to deliver holistic design solutions that meet business, brand, and user requirements.
  3. Execution. Work closely with web developers and engineers to ensure final products meet design specifications and user expectations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (MDes/BDes or equivalent) in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web or software applications.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record in independently delivering large-scale projects that shape business futures, with specialization in a specific business area.
  • Experience in the Trust and Safety domain is highly valued.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and consolidate work-streams effectively.
  • Expertise in end-to-end customer experience, service design, and platform design.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and vision for projects and teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver design solutions for complex, unstructured problems.
  • Excellent visual communication skills and the capacity to influence product strategy across teams.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to transform it into actionable plans.
