Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable distributed applications, making informed architectural trade-offs.
- Write high-quality, unit-tested code and participate in code reviews for continuous integration.
- Act as a role model and mentor for engineers, emphasizing craftsmanship and a bias for action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build platforms, products, services, and tools that enhance engineering productivity.
- Support and leverage a shared technical stack across teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software design, development, and algorithmic solutions.
- 8+ years of programming experience in Java and/or C++.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees (MS or PhD) with 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in designing and building large-scale infrastructure and web services.
- Expertise in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Strong coding skills in Java, C++, and related technologies.
